My phone fell in the ocean, and now Face ID is disabled, has this happened to anyone?

If this has happened to anyone, how did you resolve it?

I'm sure that and worse has happened to most everyone who dropped their iPhone into the ocean, which has salt water and is highly caustic to the electronics in the iPhone. Click on the Get Support link at the top right of this page to start the service process and replace the phone.
