iTunes on Mac!

I have 10,500 plus tracks on my iTunes Library, some bought from  some taken from CD's,

but am aware some tracks are missing, so when checked 'View' on menu bar, 'Only Downloaded Music' is ticked, then having changed that to 'All Music,' 4,000 plus more tracks are now added to my library, but with the white cloud showing at top of list, and a white down arrow next to, presumably the 4,000 plus tracks! Have clicked on white cloud to download, which it does, but only so many, then 'An error has occurred' is displayed & downloading stops!!! So my question is, why are not ALL my tracks available on my library, why divided into 'All & Only Downloaded' in the first place, I want them all together? TR

See Identify cloud status icons in your music library on your Mac or PC - Apple Support. Have you changed computers without fully migrating your library? Perhaps you have tracks that were still waiting to be uploaded from a previous computer? Do you have any previous computers or backups that might be used to restore any missing content?
