Sky mail

I can’t receive or send emails on iPad 8th gen. since last update. Says “no password provided for Sky”Have deleted and re-entered but no difference. No problem with same Sky mail account on HP laptop, nor when I access via sky.com. I am not very confident using any settings, so a simply worded reply would be appreciated. Thanks. PS also have very old ipad2 (9.0) for games only with sky mail still on it, but that can’t receive either.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities for help with your iPad's Mail app. We appreciate your sharing with us all the steps you have tried, you've done a great job troubleshooting. One thing you may want to check that we don't see mentioned is a VPN. If you have a VPN set up that could possibly be the cause.


On your iPad open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > if you have a VPN, disable it and try the Mail app again.


If you still see an issue with Mail, or you have no VPN, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support. They can be reached by going to Get Support.

Thanks for response. I do not have VPN as my use of iPad is very basic, nothing private.

As you suggest, I will try Get Support.


This was my first experience with a Communities Forum. I will definitely use it in future. Can I be

a nuisance and ask, if I delete the sky account in ipad2 would that affect iPad 8th and/ or

laptop?
