updated to Monterey for Logic, but where is Office please?

I have been forced to update to Monterey OS to use the latest Logic and Pro Tools versions.

All looks fab, snappy and great.

However, Microsoft 2008 has stopped working, as I expected.

I would like to install Microsoft Works 2021, but I have seen it for various prices, from £19.00 to almost £200!

Of course I want it as cheap as possible but it needs to be a legitimate version.

Where should I get it?

Any pointers appreciated.

Only purchase software from authorized sources which these days are usually direct from the developer or direct from the Apple App Store (App Store versions may behave a bit differently than the same software downloaded direct from the developer due to rules the App Store imposes on developers). Today it is rare for a developer to sell their software anywhere else (games are sometimes the exception). If a deal looks too good to be true, then it usually is not legitimate.

You can either subscribe to Microsoft 365 (with a monthly or yearly fee) or make a one-time purchase. The following has prices for both options for personal (one person), family, or business solutions.

Once you know which of those options you are looking for, you may be able to find a discounted price elsewhere. In the U.S., Amazon is one possibility and also appears to be in the UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=microsoft+office&crid=12OOBEPMTMPP3&sprefix=microsoft+office%2Caps%2C222&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
