I keep getting the following message on my mac: REMOTE ADVISOR ERROR....The original .dmg (disk image) that was downloaded could not be located" Is this serious and how do I get rid of message?

A user at the company I work at has recently been getting the "The Original .dmg (disk image) file that was downloaded could not be located." error whenever they log in or shut down their iMac. The application that seems to be flagging up the error is Beyond Trust Remote Support which is what we used to remotely support our PCs and Macs. It isn't even a client that's installed but a remote session that's open and downloaded for one time use by a web browser. I have checked in Downloads and looked in Applications through Finder and I can't find anything relating to it. Does anybody know how to stop this error message from appearing? I understand that it's a 3rd party app that's causing the error, but has anyone experienced this before and managed to put a stop to it? Thanks in advance! Rob

Hello, I have just downloaded the latest MacOs Ventura Version 13.4.1 and every time I open the computer I get this message (which I cannot neither close): "com.wacom.DataStoreMgr” is damaged and can’t be opened. The file was downloaded on an unknown date". It gives me the option of press Ok or Show in Finder but either way, the message keeps popping up over and over again. How can I solve this?

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

It sounds like there is software missing from your Mac. Were you ever supported remotely for troubleshooting by any service?

Does the message return after a restart?
