Set up second iphone with the same user - different numbers

Your signature says iPhone 12? Set one number up on the SIM and one in the eSIM. Use your AppleID for iCloud and everything else as that doesn’t effect the two lines on the separate SIMs.

Contacts and calendars are sync’d via iCloud so since you’re using that one iCloud account, both numbers will have access to that data.

That’s the great thing about a dual SIM device - two numbers and plans, but everything tied to or AppleID is common to both services.

Changing Accounts:

If both are your iPhones, I'd backup the iPhone, and then set it up anew, as if I were to sell it. Perform as instructed here, including the backup: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
