Unsync ipad and iphone photos

I just got ipad 9th gen and it synced all photos from phone. I deleted them all but now i found it deleted from phone too how do i stop them from syncing pls

Disable Photos in iCloud:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photos - set to OFF
