GSX- AST2 diagnostics error

Not able to run AST2 diagnostics(OS based) on few MacBook Pros during repairs through GSX. The machines get internet connection and starts active AST2 session and then it hangs, eventually ends up with ADTM-103 error. Host machine runs on macOS Monterey, Diagnostics Server runs on version 1.1.4(3), connected with Apple Original Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter - Apple and Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple (NZ). Still does not work.

That error usually indicates your AST2 Server is out of date. Check to make sure all of the AST2 test modules have been updated. Check out article OP476. Also make sure macOS on the diagnostic server is up to date as well. Check article OP1773 to check for any known AST diagnostic issues.

If everything is up to date, then try rebooting the server.

If you still have issues, then within the Server app try toggling the server on & off. Determine which test module is associated with the UUT Mac and reinstall that test module. Make sure to toggle the server off within the Server app when installing a test module, then toggle the server back on within the Server app.

If you are trying to run an OS based diagnostic, then your diagnostic server and the UUT must be on the same subnet. You may also want to power cycle any network switches involved including using a different switch port and Ethernet cable.

If you still have issues after this, then you will need to contact CSS through your GSX service portal for assistance.
