Activation lock

Okay so my problem is i have an old apple watch series 2 that i am planning to make it my 2nd apple watch so that i could wear it while i am at home. So the problem is the activation lock that shows in it. It displays my old apple id which i am still in use of but when i enter the id and password it just says that thats the incorrect apple id. Like seriously? I have also set up the watch with the same id few years ago and now i am getting the error i have used several ids but still it says the same. I’d really really appreciate a help from a respective person.

If this is a used device, the previous owner needs to go to https://www.icloud.com/find/ and erase the device, then remove it from their account. If they won't do that, the device is useless. Apple won't unlock it.

If you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID  if provided the required paperwork to include the original purchase receipt with the serial number on it.
