I have an e-mail acct (in addition to my iCloud acct) which is NOT an exchange acct. it sporadically does not download an e-mail. I’ve tried the suggestions previously given except I did not do a reset. Since I can access the emails elsewhere it’s not worth it to do a reset. Still I world like to be able to read the e-mail on my iPhone 11Pro.

Remove your email account and set it up again

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.


If you can't receive email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch ...
