Home Videos Cloud Storage

Hi

I have created various videos of our holidays in iMovie, exported as a file and saved them in the Apple TV app under "Home Videos".

I'm looking for the best way these would be accessible on all devices such as Apple TV and iPhone. IE I'd like my family to be able to turn on the Apple TV and choose which video they'd like.

I've tried moving the entire Apple TV library to the cloud but that didn't work.

I'd like to avoid using something like YouTube / Vimeo if possible.

You might want to try to use iCloud photos and shared album feature

You can turn on optimize storage and it will use far less, but I see your point

One possible option would be to run a media server on a computer that allows you to stream to your other devices

Like for example plex (plex.tv) I don't know how well it handles sorting etc of home movies, but it should work

It has apps for apple tv and iphones, and probably android too

Trouble is they are several Gb in size and if I put them in photos, when they download a copy to my phone it fills it !
