New iMac won't recognise Audient id14 sound card

yes… ku4hx is right. You also need to do a firmware update on it, available here ( see link) https://support.audient.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406464772628-iD14-MKII-Firmware-Change-Log.. the latest drivers are available here ( link 2): https://audient.com/products/audio-interfaces/id14/downloads/

Maybe need a compatible driver from the maker's website?

Please check with the developers of the sound card to ensure the new Mac meets the minimum system requirements.

Also, as there was no 21" iMac we don't know what you have. Apple made 21.5" iMacs from 2009 to 2020 and the current iMac is a 24" version so please let us know what you have.

It appears you have a base model 2017 21.5" iMac. Obviously the machine is not new, however it may be new to you. By the way, when posting on a public forum, please do not include private information such as serial numbers, addresses (virtual or physical), phone numbers, etc... I have asked the moderator to remove your SN info for you.

As mentioned I strongly recommend that you contact the Audient support staff to see if your 21.5" iMac is supported.
