New watch won’t charge

Brand new out of the box and cannot get it to charge. I see now lightening bolt red or green. It only says Low Battery To continue, connect Apple Watch to it’s charger. Which it has been for almost an hour. I have restarted it multiple times

unable to charge new Apple Watch 7 I've just received it, fresh out of the box, getting low battery signal. Apple Watch Series 2 Wont Charge My watch wont hold a charge. When i put in on the charger it turns on for me to select my language. Then it says "Low battery. To continue, connect charger." WHILE its on the charger. I have an original apple charger, I have tried letting it charge over night and nothing works. Is it just too old?
