MacBook Air M2 and External Display

I use the LG UltraFine display I bought from the Apple Store with my MBA M1. The display powers my M1 MBA with the Thunderbolt connection (there are 2 powered ports and 3 unpowered). But the new MacBook Air M2 will have MagSafe for power.

I'm assuming I can still use this display with the M2 Air?? (this is my main question). But since the MagSafe will take care of power, would I still use the powered USB from the display to the USB on the Air, or could that cause some sort of electronic failure and ruin one of these devices?

I, again, will assume I would use a Non-powered USB on the display and the USB on the Air. I wonder because LG sent a specific cable to use with the powered port to actually power up my MB Air. I just want to make sure all will work if I am going to get a MBA M2.
