iOS 15.5 does not let you restart an Sounds or music, audiobook from the mini player on the lock screen it will show that you have restarted the mini player but no sound comes out unless you unlock your phone and go to the app or main player

I was having the same issue so I restarted my phone and it’s working ok now. Possibly it was using Apple Music that triggered the issue, but I haven’t tried it again to see.
If that didn’t work, then I recommend service.

It was less about fixing the problem and more about reporting the problem this only started after my last update iOS 15.5 before that update I can start the mini player from the lock screen at any time

I’m gonna contact one of the beta testers on YouTube they have contacts inside and outside of the box and things will happen quicker
