Is not my passcode to unlock my phone the same to update my phone it says I’m entering the wrong passcode to update my device??

Actually, no. It prompts for the phone’s screen unlock passcode when you go to update. It doesn’t need the Apple ID password. Further evidence of that is the Apple ID password doesn’t tell you how many wrong tries.
If you shut down your phone, then restart it, can you enter the iPhone’s passcode?
Before you test this, first back up the phone to your computer or iCloud, so you can restore it if that passcode doesn’t work.

The update passcode should be the same one you use to unlock it after you have restarted it.
And that’s what I entered and it says I have 2 wrong try’s ?? Something strange going on
What’s going on is not the pass code I use to unlock my phone not the same pass code for updating my phone ??
