I have some items in my Apple Bag. I don't want to order them all right now. I can remove an item, but that means finding it again, going through the specs, and reordering it. I can't seem to find the Save for Later function or anything like that. There is a Saved section, but I can't see how to get an item that's in the Bag to Saved with its specs.
Can anyone help?

You can't directly. You would have to remove it from the bag, then click on "Still deciding?" for the item.
Just tried as @dialabrain mentioned above.
That seems to be the only option
Further, Add a Custom M2 MBP to Cart, Sign out of account.
Two minutes later log back in and the Custom M2 MBP was still in Cart.

That’s what I was afraid of. Basically you have to go back to the product page and start over. Seems something basic in a shopping site that should be available, saving a cart/bag item for future purchase.

I'm not sure what you mean. You can select a device, choose the options you want, then save it for later. If you aren't planning on purchasing something immediately just don't add it to the bag. Click the icon circled.
Just tried Before Adding to Bag .
Will try later after adding to Bag and Save For later and report back

Beats me. FWIW, I didn't understand your original question. If I add items to the bag, when I go to "Saved Items", I can click on an item which allows me to see the specs by clicking "See more details".
No. What I mean is the item is already in the Bag. I am past Add to Bag; I'm in the Bag. The question is how do I save it for later from inside the Bag.

Which seems to be a common feature in most other shopping sites.

Interesting. Mine shows my zip code and a store about 5 mins from me.
That's what I'd expect. It seems so weird that it knows the ZIP code but doesn't go to a nearby store, of which there are a few to choose from.
Not an item that’s in Saved. An item that’s in the Bag. How do it get from the Bag to Saved?

I wouldn't know. I don't add items I'm not planning on purchasing at the time. Not on Apple's site, or Amazon's, or anywhere really.
