How to create a new folder in Reminders

How do I create new folders in iPhone Reminders?

"New Reminders" greyed out On my iPhone SE (2022), running iOS 16.4.1, I used Reminders without iCloud, and it worked fine. I then mistakenly linked Reminders to iCloud, but then didn’t like that my Reminders were showing up on my iMac (because I could accidentally modify or erase them without intending to). So I disconnected Reminders from iCloud, to get Reminders back to the way it worked before iCloud. I knew I would lose my Reminders on my iPhone, but I planned to just add them back through “New Reminder”. But “New Reminder” on my iPhone is grayed out. How do I get to “New Reminders” to quit being greyed out?

reminder from icloud.com doesn't show any lists I have multiple reminder lists I created on my iphone, like groceries, to-dos, etc. But when I go icloud.com/reminders, I don't see those reminder lists that I created from iphone, not only that, I also can't create a reminder list from icloud.com. There is simply no option for creating a new list on icloud.com. I have icloud sync option "on" for reminders on iphone. is this some kind of account/sync issue or does this icloud.com/reminders simply lack very important feature?

It is not possible to create folders in Reminders. You can, however, make Lists. The Reminders app is for making to-do lists, shopping lists, etc. If you want to organize notes, or other lists in folders, you can use the Notes app.
