FaceTime feature disabled after refusing update

Why was my FaceTime feature disabled to open my phone, with apps etc for no apparent reason. I decided not to upgrade my phone a few weeks ago and this is when this problem started.

Most likely it has encountered a hardware failure or there is some erroneous communication with the True Depth camera. First thing you should try is an update to iOS 15.5 and if that does not work click on the Get Support link at the top right of this page to contact Apple Support.
