Why only one episode in the middle of a series is asking for money when the rest are free?

I've been watching Bull which is free up until season 3 episode 20 which is asking me to buy it but then the rest of the following episodes appear to be free just like the previous episodes.

There doesn't appear to be anything special about the episode.

Is it an error or are they really just charging for that one episode?

I subscribe to Apple TV+ as well as Paramount on Apple TV+. I am not sure which channel/network Bull belongs to.

I'll probably just skip the episode as it's not a big deal but I am curious as why this would be.

‘Bull’ is not free, but included in a Paramount+ subscription. It is also available to buy through e.g. the iTunes Store, per complete show, per season, or per episode.

Try accessing the episode through the Paramount+ Channel icon in the Apple TV app. If s03e20 appears missing there, then contact Apple to ask them to restore this episode. I don’t see anything irregular about it: it is not a two-parter or otherwise oddly numbered.

Apple TV app Channel subscribers to Paramount+ may verify their Apple subscription with Paramount+, to also be able to access Paramount+ through the Paramount+ app or website (i.e. outside the Apple TV app).

So, I verified my Apple subscription on the Paramount+ website and that episode isn't even available! In fact, the whole rest of season 3 after episode 19 is missing and S3 E3 & S3 E6 are also missing even though they are available on the Apple TV app. lol I guess they really don't want me watching that episode. I'm just reporting back not asking for a solution. Thanks for your help.

Edited to add from Paramount+ FAQ: "If a show or episode is not available, it's likely due to restrictions in streaming rights."
