What happens when you try? Do you see an error? If you are experiencing a problem with both wi-fi and Bluetooth, they are the same chip on the iPhone and it could indicate a hardware error.

You can try this troubleshooting for wi-fi and see if that helps. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support
