Does HP LaserJet Pro MFP M126nw supports Monterey 12.4 MAC laptop

Hi,

My Monterey 12.4 release mac (chip:Apple M1 Pro) is unable to detect ( HP LaserJet Pro MFP M126nw) printer through WI-FI . Both are same WIFI network, however same printer is working via same wifi network with MAC catalina (10.15.7 version). Please help me.

Thanks,

The HP Monterey support site for this device seems to offer a Jan 27, 2022 HP Easy Start installer which may fetch the correct driver for macOS Monterey. I would start there. Once installed, I would run that to see what HP has to offer for a compatible driver.

Although this device is not supported by Apple's built-in AirPrint, the M129nw is supported. Once you have the device networked (wired/wireless) and powered, see if you can add it via [+] on the Printers panel of System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, and if it is detected by Apple's bonjour, select that, and see if the Use selector changes to AirPrint anyway. If it does, you won't need the HP drivers, and if it doesn't support AirPrint, select the current driver for the 126nw.

Whether AirPrint or HP drivers, you can use Apple's Image Capture application for scanning.
