My IPhone gave me an error message about Touch ID

My IPhone randomly gave me a message telling me that Touch ID was not compatible with my device (IPhone 6+) when in the previous hour it was fully functional

I have checked Apple Communities and around 10,000 other people have had this complaint and I have not had my IPhone fixed in over a year so I am pretty sure it is not because of a replaced battery or a screen (Although my repair a year ago was for my screen became unresponsive due to bendgate) What Should I Do?
