iPhone Airplay: how to remove devices in the list??

No solution to an earlier community post in 2020 and still not solved in June 2022? I still see my old device (television) which I deleted in my Apple ID. I restarted my iPhone 13 Pro Max and I still see the removed and long gone TV on my Airplay device list. I do not use any Remote app and so it also was never listed there...

And by the way: is it possible to remove listings from the neighbour? Apple TV there shows in my list.

Any solution please?

After consulting with an Apple senior tech rep it appears to be a registering on the specific iPhone which needs to be taken out with a full reset.

For me this is too much of a bother with loads of settings which need to be done again and unfortunately this issue will have to wait for a new iPhone later this year to be solved. It must be a bug which will not be addressed with probably not that many people with the same problem. Sorry to leave this post unsolved as a reply to a post from somebody else 2 years ago with the same thing.

The on and off appearing Living Room Apple TV is something that is normal when a nearby device is in the vicinity and needs to be addressed by the administrator of the Apple TV (neighbour).

Hello rjamesb,

It sounds as though your iPhone may be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your neighbors Apple TV, which would explain why you're seeing Apple TV in the list of available AirPlay devices. If you're connected to your home Wi-Fi network, you may find that changing your networks password may be beneficial. If you're connected to your neighbors Wi-Fi network, it's possible you'll see AirPlay compatible device appear in AirPlay on your device.

No Samsung tv connected on Apple ID or trusted devices.

It only appears when using airplay on iPhone to stream music or video.

can it be a registered on iPad which shows on iPhone I thought.

ha! On iPad it only shows the active devices without the Samsung tv.

on iPhone it also shows switched off LG.

so this is iPhone Airplay issue/bug is my guess.
