Hello, I got a MacBook Pro (256 GB)but when I migrate from my old MacBook Air (256 GB) though time machine, it says I have 300 GB of files in ‘library’ and there is not enough space. I also tried though wifi, it’s even worse, library is 700GB.
my question is, how is there just randomly more files then any of the macs have and how I can fix it.

Time Machine (assuming you're attempting to migrate using TM) accumulates history. The longer the drive is being used, the greater the history accumulated.
The use of Migration Assistant will not transfer all your accumulated history.
If this worries you, create a fresh TM backup on a different HDD and use it to migrate data.
What's to explain?
Wifi is a really bad choice as it's fraught with problems.
A fresh TM backup will contain no more than the amount of data currently on your internal drive. If that's more then you can store on the new Mac, and leave the necessary 15-20% unused, you'll need an external drive to hold the overflow.
I only have one backup and that won’t explain the migration though wifi as I am using the mac’s migration assistant
