Apple Mail export to PDF doesn't fit on page

When I use the Export to PDF command in Mail and then open it in a PDF viewer, the right edge and/or bottom edge is often cut off. How do I force it to fit on a page?

iMac 24″, macOS 12.4

Apple Mail drag & drop a PDF as text clip Hi there, ever since I've upgraded to Monterey, I have the problem, that dragging and dropping of a PDF file from Mail to Desktop or to a program often fails. That only happens when Mail shows a preview of the PDF (which is what I'm trying to drag). Then I do not drag the file but a text clip - which I do not want. Even if I try to drag the file clicking in a blank area of the file (so that I can not inadvertently select any text). Maybe that is connected to my magic trackpad, which I'm using? Is there any way to suppress dragging text clips from a PDF while trying to drag the whole file? Or can I deactivate the inline preview of PDF files in Mail? Thx for your support! Rado

problem with pdf files opening when attached to emails When i create a text file using WORD for Mac - and save it as a pdf file, it opens inside the email, when i attach the pdf doc? I've tried PRINT-SAVE AS PDF. and Export as pdf, yet the documents always open inside the email? I don't have this problem with PAGES, but I prefer using WORD to create text files. Any suggestions or advice will be welcomed.

When you do the export, in the window that come up to select where to export, try clicking on Show Details to see what paper size is shown. You can try a different paper size to see if that helps.
