Stolen iPhone disappeared from FMiP

Hello,

Recently my iPhone 12 got stolen, it was visible shortly on FMiP a few days ago, and I could still see the history of that moment (where it was exactly even after it was no longer on)

But now that iPhone does not even show itself on the list of devices on FMiP, what could be the reason for that?

Thanks in advance.

The usual reason is that the thief sends a message that appears to be from Apple and when the phone's owner responds to the message they divulge the password for the Apple ID. With the password, the thief can remove the phone from Find My.

If you think that may have happened, you should immediately change your password. See: Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support
