Combining Two Old iTunes Libraries On One New Computer
Hello, hope you're well!
I had an old personal Mac and an old work Mac, neither of which I can use anymore. I backed up both Macs via Time Machine, and purchased a new 3rd Mac on which I am attempting to selectively combine pieces of both without fully entering a proper, full Time Machine backup of either.
For my music, I extracted the two iTunes folders to the Music folder on the new Mac. One is named 'iTunes,' and one is named 'iTunes 1.' However, when I open iTunes on the new Mac, all I see are the downloaded purchases from my account (I had used the same current one across both prior Macs). There are no files from other sources or playlists whatsoever.
How do I properly combine the two old libraries within the new library so that everything is synced up, mixed together with my account purchases, and, crucially, sorted into the playlists as they were before?
Thanks!
