Display Settings - No option to Extend Display but Only Mirroring option is available

I am not seeing any option as 'Extended Display' as part of dropdown under Display settings to use My external monitor as extended display. Able to see only 'Mirroring' option.

I am using MacBook Pro (2021 Model) with macOS Monterey version 12.4.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 12.4

If you are using AirPlay, you have to select Screen Mirror, first.

If you are direct connected with a cable, all monitors should be separate. If you want them to be joined, you disable "Displays have separate space" in Mission Control System Preferences.
