recover icloud backup to a backdate

I got my new iPhone 13 Pro today and I must have clicked something to instruct the iphone to backup to icloud. Since it is a brand new phone, icloud did a default backup (of a completely new/blank/empty iphone). I don't know what the default icloud backup apps/file/data were selected. but I noticed my Shared Albums were gone. Last night's backup had been overwritten by this accidental blank backup. Is there a way to recover my icloud backup from last night? HELP! I am panicking.

Hello mikeycoffee,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We can help with your new iPhone and what happened with iCloud backups. First, your shared album shouldn't be stored in your iCloud backup. You may need to make sure your Apple ID is signed in.

Tap Settings > [your name]. Make sure you show signed in. Next, tap on iCloud > Photos. You may need to enable iCloud Photos and Shared Albums.

Next, if you need to restore a different iCloud backup go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup. If you have an older one, you can restore it there.
