Phone Continues to Go Straight to Voicemail!!!

I have become increasingly frustrated by the issue that I continue to have with my iPhone. This happened on my iPhone 12 and continues to happen on my iPhone 13. The issue is, my phone will randomly send callers straight to voicemail. I have checked EVERY setting imaginable and all of them are where they should be according to experts, forums, and every other place I checked. I even took it straight to the Apple Store and they couldn't figure it out. I've taken my phone to my carrier provider (Comcast Xfinity) multiple times and each time they replace the sim card only for it to happen again. This is beyond frustrating. I'm so tired of talking to support each time only to go over the same questions over and over again...Is DND on, is the caller blocked, have you rest your phone, etc. If anyone has had this issue and has finally found a solution I'd love to hear from you.

Assuming the iPhone is carrier-unlocked, try a different carrier with a different SIM as a test, and see if the calls work.


Yes, this will mean that your "real" calls on your "real" phone number will go straight to voicemail, but that's already happening.


Make sure the test carrier you choose is not an MVNO for the same cellular network that Comcast Xfinity is using; that the test carrier is not a Verizon MVNO.


If the test carrier works reliably, you know there's an issue with either Comcast Xfinity Wi-Fi network, or with the local Verizon network. If the test carrier does not work reliably and calls via that also go to voicemail, then the more likely culprit is the iPhone.
