I have a an IMac 2011 recently upgraded to High Sierra 10.13, however now my Wacom Cintiq drawing tablet is not detected by the computer following the installation. I have slugged through 2 weeks of troubleshooting and have downloaded the compatible Wacom driver for this operating system but nothing happens.
If the Wacom will not connect you should reach out to the Wacom developers. They are responsible for ensuring their device connect. It would have been more helpful if you had let us know what troubleshooting you have already tried such as restarts, updates to Wacom software, updates to Mac OS, Safe Mode restarts etc.... Also, the last release of Mac OS 10.13 is 10.13.6, please ensure that is the version you are running.
Finally, on such an old Mac you may want to consider upgrading to a more up-to-date Mac. One of the problems of running old computers, OS's and third party apps is you are painting yourself into a corner of obsolescence.

Ive been in touch with Wacom and downloaded the compatible drivers for my cintiq 12WX. Ive also updated the ram memory & changed cable wires. Unfortunately Apple customer service was a bust...they regard my computer as obsolete after 8 yrs. The Genius bar staff wouldnt even touch it. Thanks loads...Im a board artist and I need this tablet and, with $7 gas and 40 yr inflation, dont have the cash to plop down on $2000+ new iMac. So Im stuck and all I want is a straight answer. Is it the Macs over zealous security measures in High Sierra or the old wacom?
