No whatsapp notification on locked screen.

I have reset all the notification settings, Do not Disturb is off, and notifications are on both in general settings and in whatsapp settings and I get no notification on my locked screen. No sound and it doesn't light up either. I do not get whatsapp notifications on my apple watch as well. This problem started suddenly.
