If all of your gear is compromised, you either need to reset all of it, or use a separate device until this is sorted. Resetting all of it may not have the desired outcome, until and unless you can reset all of it completely, particularly if your password security is compromised.

Who do you report this to? You report your concerns to local authorities; to local police. They can work with Apple, as and when they need.

Or you can work through local victims rights advocates or legal representation. If there’s a contested divorce happening, legal representation is going to be inevitable.

They can work with you to assist in whatever plans or transitions or other actions might arise here.

How to secure your devices and your information was previously linked. Here it is again:

https://help.apple.com/pdf/personal-safety/en_US/personal-safety-user-guide.pdf

If you suspect your devices were compromised, the iPhone and Mac and whatever else then gets factory reset and passwords reset on your Apple ID, mail accounts, cellular plan PIN, social media passwords, pretty much all of your password get reset, and you best enable two-factor authentication, and most or all of which was in the linked safety document.

iPhone reset:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

And resetting your devices will remove any potential evidence, hence starting the discussion with police and/or your legal representation and/or domestic victims’ assistance. Quite possibly on an unrelated phone, whether borrowed a friend or neighbor’s, or a “burner”, or otherwise.

Unless your husband had half a million dollars to blow on spyware, he’s yanking your chain.

Pegasus is NOT something that’s available outside of government, law enforcement, and those who are wealthy enough to blow a huge wad for very little benefit.

Actually, the entry level price for Pegasus is $5 million. And they only sell to governments, not even to Elon Musk.

NO, he is NOT doing that. It is not possible for him to do it. You need to find another explanation for what is happening.

The FBI can’t hack an iPhone; they did once, and it cost them $980,000 (and the method they used required disassembling the phone, and it will no longer work). The CIA can’t hack an iPhone. The NSA can’t hack an iPhone. It’s ludicrous to think your spouse can do what these experts can’t.

And Apple just announced that they would pay a bounty of up to $2 million to anyone who can find a security flaw in the security of the next version of iOS.

A formal report was submitted to cyber crimes, fbi, Verizon, apple along with the case that my lawyer already has against him… I can’t speak more right now bc it’s an active investigation… everyone has a right to feel safe and the system is broke with no way to report it unless you know tech and can prove it without a doubt yourself… some of you are brilliant, maybe come up with a system to help people report it and be heard… I wonder how many people are labeled crazy, become suicidal, or end up stuck in an abusive situation but bc their are no bruises nothing can be done.. imagine not being able to leave bc they know your move before you can put in action, or prevent emails for housing from coming through, know when you see an attorney, know if you get a bank account… ditch the phone doesn’t work unless you can accomplish everything in one day! Please educate yourself on this and help prevent cyber criminals from winning … this is a real thing and is going on. Everyday! All I ever wanted was a place to report it and a way to prevent it! Police are not equipped to help and unless it’s a physical abuse crime …

he gained access by another iPhone with authkitUIService, remoteicloudquotaUI, incallservice

he has access to developers, GitHub codes

i am not sure exactly how he does it bc I am not tech but I know he does and he has and I need to protect myself and my kids … I have a lot more info and like I said I may not know the right terms but I know for a fact what he has done just not sure how and I have no one local to help me

if I had guidance I can provide anything

I kept the Wi-Fi off and Bluetooth off and I just got this phone… is there something I can do? I can’t afford to throw phones away… I got the phone on my own account and did not transfer any existing accounts… created new Apple ID and iCloud … do I have any options to report things and get a new device or a way to fix this one… my kids have the incallservice in their system settings and and Chinese keyboards with the target background… my Chevrolet app was also accessed and every account I own

I live in a small town where we don’t have an apple store… resources are scarce but I’m still trying… I may not have the right terminology or the correct words but I know for a fact that I have been compromised and I know what to look for but explaining it is not my best asset. Also he confirmed everything but will not tell me how … he is a genius, I give him that, but this is attacking my human rights and bc I live in a small town cyber security is not easily assessable… that’s why I am on here to get help and to learn how to secure myself not to get opinions regarding my situation. Thank you

wow! So my husband admitting what he has done… using Pegasus, tor, and multiple other things… using developer tools to do bad things and use codes from GitHub… my phone was basically a beacon, a worm, whatever you call it and it infected multiple devices… he has hacked every phone in my house including my kids… but your telling me it didn’t happen… your apart of the problem then…. The system is broke and no one knows how to get help!

Jul 11, 2022 3:10 PM in response to MrHoffman

How am I to know this stuff? I’ve been begging for info…. I asked for help… I get told from local authorities that this is a domestic issue and I need an attorney and they don’t have anyone there that even knows what to look at….I have an appt with an attorney but that’s going to cost me…. Everything I do is monitored… even this convo… so I’m on here as a last ditch effort to get guidance on how to protect myself or how to report it correctly… I am not tech savvy so I don’t know the right terminology…

Jul 11, 2022 3:26 PM in response to Basichumanright22

I’d assume that either none of this happened (due to gaslighting or otherwise), or that any breach that did happen here was involving passwords and/or direct device access (more mundane security compromises), and that any breaches have happened here is not clear.

As for what to do, directions for a Pegasus scan were posted. I’m skeptical that anything will be detected, but surprises might happen. How to verify and upgrade security was previously posted, both with links to Apple info, and general info on resetting compromised gear, as was how to reset devices.

And if a divorce lawyer is not interested in this, there’s little that anyone here can provide.

Jul 11, 2022 3:42 PM in response to MrHoffman

I don’t know how to do a Pegasus scan… I am not tech savvy… tell me where I can take my phone or send it…I’ll do it… I have an appt with divorce attorney … please don’t downplay someone’s legit concerns just bc I may not know what to post or the right things to say… instead would it hurt to take someone seriously and give them guidance…

Jul 12, 2022 10:35 AM in response to KiltedTim

Well I’m feeling more stupid by the minute… so I guess he is toying with me to make me look crazy… but the fact of the matter is …. He has access and was able to gain access by my old phone coming in contact with my new phone… I don’t know how and everything I thought I knew seems to be untrue… so basically I don’t know how he does it but I do know he gets access …I just want to ensure that I can get him off our devices and not track us so I can keep us safe….
