Apple Watch glass

i have owned at least a dozen watch’s from Timex to Tissot. I have now owned a series 2 and 5 Apple Watch. I am athletic, rock climbing, water and snow skiing, competing cyclist in “crashterions” and mountain biking. I never once cracked a watch face. Well until now. A 2ft fall onto a hardwood floor, a fall out of a locker..2-3 feet and both watch’s are trash! 375 repair from Apple! AppleCare currently covers only 1 year. No option to extend..

Apple needs to fix this.
