Corrupted Photos Gone

Hi,

I recently tried to move my travel photos from iphone 11 to my Laptop (Windows 10)

Like always, I plugged in my iphone to my Laptop and straight away "cut" the photos and "paste" to a folder in my laptop. I left it for a few minutes until the transfer loading screen disappear. No error message or anything, so I assume the photos were successfully "cut"and "paste" to my laptop.

When I open the folder in my laptop, I saw a lot of photos & Videos icon, but when I clicked them, I was unable to open them.

And when I checked my phone, the photos are gone.

Please help

(i normally use this method to move my photos from iphone and there's no problem. Never use itunes to import my photos)

Can someone please help?
