Wrist detection is so poor
at the gym, Why this wrist detection is so rubbish when comes to using free weight and assisted weight machine … it’s kept pausing the workout lots because it’s cannot handle the wrist movement using dumbbells etc… on average I lose 20 mins of it out of 1 hour gym workout. The Apple Watch’s wrist detection cannot handle the wrist movement when handling the dumbbell or assist weight machine.
it’s doesn’t work with sweaty wrist/arm either, this too kept pausing and I get angry at Apple Watch, had to keep press resume every few seconds and take it off to dry my sweaty wrist and put it back on.
i owned Apple Watch every version and this Apple Watch 7 is the worst version I ever own. I felts want to smash the Apple Watch and felts lots of time wanted to throw this into Apple Watch and scream at it. Because it’s keep disturbing in my gym workout !!
also it’s doesn’t work well enough when out walking , it’s automatically ask me to press green bar to start … as soon I did, it’s pausing itself within a few seconds when I put my wrist back down walking. But as workaround this. Next time I ignored to press the green bar and it’s kept going fine till I finished the walking, then press green bar and and end the workout to recorded.
please give us a feature gym/ weight workout that work without using the wrist detection!! So I’ve can record the calories
