I can no longer forward my work phone to my iPhone 13 Pro

Ever since the last update I can no longer forward my work phone to my iphone 13pro. Is there some setting that is keeping me from receiving forwarded calls?

I want to post the solution in case someone else has this issue. Under settings>phone>call blocking and identification I had a old Verizon call filter switched on and I no longer use Verizon. I also had my Blackberry Work app switched on. I'm not sure why I have this switch since I don't receive calls through the Blackberry app. Anyway I switched them both off and now I am able to receive forwarded calls from my office.

peggyfromrichardson,

Thanks for getting back to us and for clarifying that information for us. If you have the feature of, "Silence Unknown Callers" turned on, let's temporarily turn it off and test to see if you can receive phone calls that are forwarded to your iPhone. You can check by going to Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers.

If that doesn't help, we recommend to contact your wireless provider. This is a feature that is controlled by your carrier and they can review this further for you.

Best regards.

That’s a great article if I wanted to forward my cellular phone to another phone. But it doesn’t address why I can’t “receive” forwarded phone calls on my iPhone. Now that I’m working from home I want my office phone to forward to my cell phone. It used to work fine until I updated the iOS to 15.5. Now if someone calls my work phone, instead of forwarding to my iPhone it’s just a dead line. This doesn’t happen to anyone’s phone but mine. If I forward my work phone calls to my business partner‘s phone it works fine but I can’t forward it to my own phone.

my “silence unknown callers” switch has been turned off. Also under “call blocking and identification” the switch for my blackberry work app and my call filter app are both turned off but my Nomorobo app is turned on. I have to wait until Monday when someone can forward the phones to me again so I can try these other switches. My calls are currently forwarded to my business partner since I can’t get them and no one is at the office today. I appreciate your suggestions and will keep trying different things.
