AirPods Notifications are EXTREMELY LOUD, while other sounds are not

I tried answering this question on another thread but it was locked from answers, I finally got this fixed!!! See below:

Go to: Settings / Sounds & Haptics / Headphone Safety / turn "Reduce Loud Sounds" ON!!!! / Live a happy life.

80 or 85 decibels have been working great for me so far. Hope this is helpful to everyone!

AirPods Max’s volume goes to max by itself after standby If I take them off my head to do something and put them back on without ever putting them back into their case the AirPods Max’s volume will spike to its max volume. The volume displayed doesn’t change at all in either Notification Center or the music app and stays that loud without changing the volume with either the Digital Crown or the side volume buttons. Even funnier is that I’ve on more than one occasion gotten one of those unhealthy sound level notifications from this. I’ve never had this happen with my AirPods Pro 2nd generation, but it happens consistently with the AirPods Max edit: I am having this happen on my iPhone 14 pro max running iOS 16.3.1 not an iPhone 6 running iOS 10. I’ve had several phones since the iPhone 6 so I don’t know why that’s what appears

My AirPods sound quality have gone down drastically after cleaning them with a wet wipe, how do I fix it So long story short I cleaned my AirPods with a wet wipe, thinking it would do the job (it did) but now when I want to listen to music, the sound quality is VERY quiet, I’ve tried the volume settings, the decibel setting but nothing will work! The only other thing I can think of is the amount of notifications I was getting about how loud the music was, and that could be a reason it has gone down; if that is the reason, how can I fix it?
