i get stupid lag when using data and it goes away if i toggle airplane mode

Ever since apple switched to the aluminum bands, connection to wifi and data has been ****. Lag drop frequently, constant latency in games i play like brawl stars. Makes them unplayable. Sometimes its fixed if i toggle airplane mode, sometimes not. I figured buying the top spec iphone wouldn’t be a crapshoot. Very disappointing. Never had the issue on iphone 11 but when they switched the band material it went to ****. Contemplating dropping apple if its not fixed with the 14.
