iOS 13.5 internet speeds

I recently upgraded iPhone 10 recently upgraded to iOS 13.5 and Running on AT&T with 3 of 4 bars and LTE connection. immediately had data/internet speed issues on upgrade. Speedtest.net has it under 3mbps D/L speed. I turned off Bluetooth but no material improvement. Also tried a hard reboot (volume up/down, then side button), also tried network settings reset. No improvement.

I have two iPhone 8s that did not upgrade yet on same network running 3x times that speed. Also have a iPhone 7 T-Mobile phone with similar speeds to the 8s.

It seems like data speeds down Significantly on iOS upgrade. Any Ideas or is there a bug on release??

Data Speed Overrules WiFi:

I'm not so certain it is a bug. If data is enabled, then that always overrules WiFi. So, if data is much slower, then your device will work at that speed. So, disable cellular, and all would be fine.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro on AT&T and get much better speed than that on LTE. I would check another location and see if that speed improves there. Contact AT&T to check their tower at that location for problems.

So, you are saying that you are using Personal Hotspot on your iPhone to provide internet to another device over wi-fi, and are complaining about the speeds? Are you measuring the speed on the second device, or on the iPhone you are using the Hotspot on?

Thanks but I am actually trying to use my cell data over Wi-Fi.
