Purple Screen of Death Appearing More n More

Most people using Windows knows what the Blue Screen of Death is.

I.e. you are just finishing something you've been working on for hours, just the last touches before you're off to a well deserved weekend. Then it happens. All gone and you're left with a blue screen with some text (that probably BG wrote).

Now MacOS seems to have it own version except that it is purple and is preceded by a short freeze. Then all goes purple for some milliseconds. Which is followed by a restart. All work a goner and nowhere to send an invoice for the extra work.

This has happened more than three times within a week on my Macbook Pro M1 (2021). More than all combined over the previous eight years since joining the apple sect.

Anyone else having this and any remedies?

Thanks!

To trouble shoot further you can:

—SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

login and test, reboot as normal and test.

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS
