Upgrade to Big Sur, and now Sketchup has problems

I recently downloaded Big Sur on my 2013 MacBook Air. Now Sketchup Pro will display the dimensions inverted- upside down and backwards.

Sketchup communities knows about this problem, but trace it back to Apple during the upgrade.

Apple help communities have no information on a solution, from what I found.

I hesitate making upgrades, and now I finally did and I'm really paying for not following my gut. Can anybody help find a work-around or better fix for this problem?

Ensure that you have the last software update version of Big Sur installed, and the current version of Sketchup from the vendor's site. Retest.
