i’ve also noticed my phone freeze/ randomly pause.

it’s more like a tinny blue light that flashes here and there, it’s no often but noticeable.
Contact or visit the store where you purchased.
Ask what that is, they can judge better when they see it.
Or visit an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Reseller in your region for assistance to diagnose the problem.
