im confused. I have the messages in iCloud settings on my phone on but when I log into iCloud all other icons are there but not messages. I accidentally deleted 1 text message and wanted to get it back but can see any in iCloud 🙁
Messages cannot be accessed at iCloud.com. But, if you deleted the message from your device, it has been erased everywhere.

Correct. Messages are end-to-end encrypted and can only be accessed on device. There is no way to decrypt online so there is no access at iCloud.com.
iCloud syncs your data across devices, it does not back up data in general.
Awe that’s no good so what’s the point then if even having this function? and 2 are you saying you cannot access it in iCloud at all? Again what’s the point
I go to iCloud but there is no messages icon.
