MacBook Pro (2019) keeps clicking itself out of active applications at random

My macbook keeps clicking itself out of active applications at random intervals, and I'm not touching trackpad or mouse. It's the equivalent of me clicking outside an active application window - the app stays open but I have to click on it again to use it.

I could be watching videos on YouTube and this things happens and when I try to pause the video Implying on YouTube using the space bar, it doesn't work because this issue would have taken away from YouTube being the active window but then I don't know what becomes active after that and I have to click on the YouTube window to keep it active again. And this happens with any app Im using and happens and random intervals. I hope this explains my issue and I can get help with this. Thank you.

Look for any sign that your battery may be swelling and impacting the trackpad. Look for seam separation or the bottom not sitting flat on the table...

One symptom of a swelling battery is exactly as you describe...
