Can I use the m1 iMac power supply to route wifi to other devices?

I want to set up my Philips hue bridge, but I was wondering I could use the ethernet port on the iMac power supply to backwards route internet through the iMac (basically using it as a hub) and in to the Hue brigde?

The port on the power supply accepts a signal from your modem or router and shunts it to your internal network card. It doesn't provide a signal.

I guess if you connected a signal splitter you could do as you are describing, but I'd just use my router to connect other devices. If you don't have a router, some are quite economical to purchase
