My network speed on Macbook as plummeted compared to all other devices

Hello. Can anyone point me in the right direction to begin to resolve this issue?

I noticed my internet wi-fi speed on my MacBook 2016 (running Catalina) started to slow down last week or so, intermittingly. I put it down to issues with my broadband supply. But having now checked this, there are no issues with my supply.

So now I have tested the speeds of my other networked devices (an iPhone 12 and an iMac), and they are all getting the usual expected speeds. only my Macbook Pro is now getting the very low speed? In the example below, I tested my Macbook against another 2 devices one after the other. And only my Macbook is suffering.

Any ideas why. I typically get 50-70Mbps. But only getting 4-6Mbps currently on this one Apple device?

The example below of my Macbook Pro speed compared to my other devices (iMac and iPhone), test taken all at similar times one after the other, to highlight the massive difference and drop in speed on my Macbook. (Nothing else was running on any of the devices when tests taken - and all just freshly rebooted).

Have you hard reset the Mac, the router, the modem and compared your results...?

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac - Apple Support

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

—SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Takes a bit longer to get to the login screen, does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

In Safe mode third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, it removes malware, etc hampering smooth operation, however a reboot will put it back to normal mode.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.
