I have a thin vertical line appear on my iMac display screen. Any ideas ?

Please shut it down and then reset the NVRAM, then test. Next, if that does not work please restart in Safe Mode and then restart normally. If neither works please take the computer to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be professionally diagnosed.
