Website email links not working on new MacBook Pro 2021 laptop

I never had this issue with my prior MacBook model computers. But my MacBook Pro doesn't open up email contact links on websites. Instead it shows this below and doesn't work when I try to sign into my gmail email. All I want to access is the website's email address to manually write email address in one of my email accounts to send it.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 12.4

That's the screen you start with to create mail accounts.

If you don't have a mail account on that Mac, you need to create it, or them if you have more than one..
